“What is an astrology consultation?”

An astrology consultation is an opportunity for you to talk in a safe space about issues that are important to you that show up in your birth chart. People have astrology consultations for a number of reasons - you may be going through a rough patch, have an important project coming up that you’d like astrological advice on, or simply be curious to have a general reading. Whatever your needs, I will tailor the session to your requirements.

“How long is a consultation?”

A consultation typically lasts around an hour.

“Do you do home visits?”

Yes - if you live in the Bristol area and would prefer me to come to your home, I can arrange this.

“How much does it cost?”

£50 for the consultation if you come to my home in Southville for the consultation. For home visits, I charge an additional amount depending on the travelling time from my house to yours - usually this is around £10.

“What do I get?”

As well as the consultation itself, I will give you an attractively bound copy of your birthchart, a tape recording of our consultation and a printed copy of my Astrology Primer (you can download the primer from this site, too).

“Can I ask follow up questions?”

Yes, this is an important part of any consultation. We cover a lot of ground, and you may well have follow-up questions or areas that you’re not sure about afterwards. That’s why I provide a recording of our consultation on cassette tape for you to listen to again, and I’m happy to answer questions arising from our consultation by phone at no extra cost.

“What details do you need?”

I will need to know your date of birth, your place of birth and ideally your time of birth.

“What if I don’t know my time of birth?”

If you don’t know your time of birth at all, I construct a chart for sunrise on your date of birth. If you have an approximate time, that’s still better than no time at all. Much of the chart will still apply if you don’t know your birth time - what will be lost is your Ascendant (or rising sign), and the astrological “houses” which explain in what areas (career, home and so on) the planetary energies will play out.

“I don’t live in Bristol, can you still do my chart?”

If you don’t live near me, I can still offer a consultation over the telephone. This will cost £50 (€75, $US100), and will last about an hour. If you live in an EU country or the USA, I will phone you so you don’t need to pay for the call. However, I don’t currently have facilities for recording a telephone consultation - if you have the facility for recording it, you’re very welcome to do so.

“Can I pay by credit card?”

Yes, if you pay in advance. I don’t have my own secure server, but you can pay securely by credit card using PayPal, and I accept payments in UK pounds, Euros or US dollars.
